পীরগঞ্জ(ঠাকুরগাঁও)প্রতিনিধি::নিষিদ্ধ আওয়ামীলীগের প্রতিষ্ঠা বার্ষিকীর পোষ্টার সাঁটানো এবং জুলাই-আগষ্ট বিপ্লবে হামলা মারিপট এবং বিস্ফোরক মামলায় জেলার পীরগঞ্জ উপজেলার ৮নং দৌলতপুর ইউনিয়নের চেয়ারম্যান ও ইউনিয়ন আওয়ামীলীগের সভাপতি সনাতন চন্দ্র রায় কে আটক করেছে পুলিশ। মঙ্গলবার বিকালে উপজেলার পূর্ব হাজীপুর এলাকার নিজ বাড়ি থেকে তাকে আটক করা হয়।পীরগঞ্জ থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ তাজুল ইসলাম জানান, দৌলতপুর ইউনিয়নের বালুবাড়ি বাজার এলাকায় গোপনে আওয়ামীলীগের প্রতিষ্ঠা বার্ষিকীর পোষ্টার সাঁটানো হয়েছে, এতে তার সক্রীয় ভুমিকা রয়েছে । এছাড়াও তিনি গত ৪ আগষ্ট পীরগঞ্জ পূর্ব চৌরাস্তায় বৈষম্য বিরোধী আন্দোলন চলাকালে ছাত্র জনতার ওপর হামলা, মারপিট ও ককটেল বিস্ফোরণের সাথে জড়িত থাকার অভিযোগে দায়ের করা মামলায় ইউনিয়ন আওয়ামীলীগের সভাপতি ও দৌলতপুর ইউনিয়নের চেয়ারম্যান সনাতন চন্দ্র রায় কে আটক করা হয়েছে। গ্রেপ্তারের আগে তিনি নিয়মিত তার ইউনিয়ন পরিষধদ দাপ্তরিক কার্যক্রম করে গেছেন। জুলাই-আগষ্ট বিপ্লবের পর থেক তিনি প্রকাশ্যেই তার দায়িত্ব পালন করে আসছিলেন। এমনি করে আরো বেশ কিছু আোয়ামীলীগ নেতা এবং কয়েকজন ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান প্রকাশ্যেই তাদের কার্যক্রম চালাচ্ছেন। এমনকি থানার োসি’র সাথে বসে উপজেলা পরিষদের সভা-সমাবেশ করছেন। অথচ এসব আ’লীগ নেতা জুলাই বিপ্লবের সিক্রয় অংশগ্রহনকারী এবং আ’লীগের সুবিধাভোগী হিসেবে পরিচিত।
