Azam Rehman: An introductory meeting of the district journalists was held with the new Superintendent of Police Jahangir Hossain in Thakurgaon. Additional Superintendent of Police (Admin) Kamal Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police Sadar Circle Abdullah Taher, DI-1 Hasan Iman, Sadar Officer-in-Charge Tanvirul Islam, Traffic Inspector Masud Sarkar and other senior police officials were present at the meeting. Among the journalists present were Press Club President Mansur Ali, Co-President Zakir Mostafiz Milu, General Secretary Lutfar Rahman Mithu, Prothom Alo Correspondent Mujibur Rahman and other journalists of print and electronic media of the district. Thanking the journalists present at the meeting, the new Superintendent of Police sought everyone’s cooperation in discharging his duties.
